In agile process we talk a lot about feedback which is the main driving force for the feature. But in most practiced frameworks like scrum or Kanban the feedback is a bit late which can go to the next sprint (if you are using scrum) so what are the best approaches to follow that.
In case of internal feedback we should have an immediate feedback from the project managers and consultants if we give a feedback demo every week. The feature doesn’t have to installable or it shouldn’t even be complete. You could show the mocks. Ideas sketches or anything that shows what you intend to do. You will get quick feedback on what the people who are working closely with the customer think and use that feedback directly.
In case of external feedback you could show the shippable version to the customer but try to defend the need of the feature instead of what the customer likes. Ask he what are his needs and how our functionality will help them fulfill their needs.
